In 2022, a woman named Indra Kumari got married to Nakul Sharma but she soon realized that she had ended up in an abusive marriage. Apparently, Sharma was an alcoholic and would abuse his wife, both physically and emotionally, on a regular basis. Frustrated and fed up with an alcoholic husband, Kumari wanted to end the marriage and was seeking a way out of this allegedly abusive relationship. Around this time, a loan recovery agent named Pawan Kumar Yadav would often visit the couple’s home to collect overdue payments.
Kumari met Yadav in a professional interaction but the bond soon transformed into a friendship and eventually blossomed into love. The alleged couple initially kept their relationship a private affair but could not refrain from meeting each other. Kumari even once escaped and went to West Bengal to spend some quality time with her boyfriend Yadav. But what happened later has left everyone in shock – not just the trio and their families but the Internet too!
After living in a disguised relationship for months, Kumari and Yadav decided to go against all odds and get married. They tied the knot on February 11 this year in a private ceremony at a temple. Though the ‘wedding’ wasn’t attended by many, it soon went viral on social media garnering several views and opinions. But it did not end there. While Yadav’s family accepted this marriage, Kumari’s family was against it. They went on to file an FIR against Yadav but the woman did not fear. She stood by her ‘new’ husband stating she had married him ‘of her own free will’. Her family went on to threaten Yadav leading to the couple seeking police protection.
